Cynthia SotoCynthia Soto L.Ac

From Renton, Washington, Cynthia was raised in a bilingual (English/Spanish) household.  She received her first acupuncture treatment at age 17. In the early 2000s she worked at Highpoint Dental Clinic, one of many community health clinics of the Neighborcare Health clinics (formerly PSNHC). She was inspired by a clinic that offered quality, affordable health care to many different patients.

She studied at Bastyr University, receiving a Masters of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Chinese Herbal Certificate in early 2011.  She is currently in her 3rd year of studies with the Sundust Oracle Institute, learning about shamanic healing arts, doing what has deep heart and meaning, and how to honor this beautiful planet that we call home.

Cynthia is excited to be practicing in the community acupuncture setting, bringing an ancient healing art to the community in a way that is accessible and empowering.  She is interested in the collaborative nature of acupuncture, working together with patients to better understand their health concerns and to co-create treatments that are effective, holistic and relaxing.
